I just did my hair out of desperation (had run out, hadn't ordered
any and as the co-op has some pretty decent stuff, scooted over
there and they were out (often are, so it's probably fresh!) and
bought a box of red light mountain (with the fox on the box). Of
course I ignored the directions, used lemon juice etc. and mixed it
with a bit of indigo and the color turned out good (my hair is also
saturated with henna as I am a long time hennahead, it might not
work so well for a 1st time user) But, WHAT A MESS! I have grown
used to relatively pure stuff and they (the light mountain folk)
must cut it with a lot of chaff or clay. Usually henna is a bit
messy, but this was so grainy, clumps were flying all over me and
the bathroom. I'm spoiled on the real deal!
