What brand of henna did you use? Women in Middle Eastern countries,who have black hair, use henna. So it must be the quality of your
henna. Order some stuff from online and leave it on for 4 hours +.
And yes, it does make your hair nicer =D. My dark roots turned an
orange brown/flaming orange in sun from henna, so it's not about your
hair color. Now to slay some evil crappy-henna-purveyors...
