Henna that doesn't color? NO SUCH ANIMAL. Hopefully what you have
is Cassia obovata; might want to check. A local store here
sells 'neutral henna' powder which is as far as I can tell is bogus
for hair care. They sell indigo as 'black henna' and the regular
stuff as 'red henna'.

If it is cassia obovata, you're in luck! All you need to do is add
enough warm water to make a loose paste (like yogurt), work into hair
and scalp, cover and wait 1/2 hour and rinse out.

If it isn't Cassia, you may want to post here what the brand name or
plant name is. Someone who has had experience with the 'henna' you
have may tell you what they've found out.
