As a bit of a hair novice, I don't know what "no 1/2 short hair" is,but I have bra strap length hair that is fairly thick. I can see that
my scalp is dyed when I part my hair after hennaing. I find that it
washes out by the third wash...first wash to get henna out that day,
second wash the next morning, third wash gone. I usually do my hair
on Friday nights so my scalp and any drips have washed off by Sunday's
shower and I'm in the clear by return to work Monday morning.
On this forum, they say that the scalp doesn't hold the dye well or
for very long but I don't recall exactly why. I seem to recall it had
something to do with the difference in glands in scalp skin and skin
everywhere else on the body perhaps??? Hope this is helpful.
