Cassia?

Hey now!
I will have time today to play with cassia for the first time.
Just wanted to know if cassia has a "window" of time to work
with like the henna does. I know that I'm not dealing with dye
relese time, but do I only have a window to which the cassia is
effective? Also, can I freeze the mixed leftovers for next time?
