From when I use to dye cloth in the washer I used a cup of salt tothe load, so I would start here with a tablespoon or two and see how
that goes. I plan on doing this next week and I am going to try the
iron vessel as wellwith the henna. Also adding amla to the indigo
has greatly helped the fading on mine and my daughter's hair. Her
hair is medium brown and with the amla it stays very black. You
might try that.
