I made an amla paste the day before, and just let it sit.
It looked a lot like henna oxidation. It had a dark layer on top
by morning. The only reason I tried amla is because my indigo
washed out after a week, and I did not like the after color.
I'm still working with indigo, I'm planning to use salt next time.
I did have better results when I henned/indigoed as a 2 step process,
rather than a 1 step.
I have not tried the amla oil.
