I usually mix the henna and walnut and lemon together, then let it sit for an hour
or two in warm water. I'm not sure if that's the best way though. It looks
*slightly* different to me, but I'm a protanope or a protanomalope. (Can a
protanope see dye release in pure henna?) The color when it rinses out is definitely
different.
