I was going to do this today and did mix it up, but I had to freeze
if for next week. I totally forgot that my daughter has Nutcracker
rehersals all this week and there is no way I could have left a mix
in for the usual 8 hours, so the experiment is off until next week.
I plan to put the mix in my hair on Monday and will update then.

One observation I can share is that the mix in the iron pot did not
look any different than in the plastic bowl and the iron pot was not
damaged. This pot had been seasoned so that may have interfered
with the oxidizing with iron process. I plan to buy a new pot and
not season it to use for next time and see if it works differently.
