Grind up?

The first henna I tried was Nour a friend in CA sent me from Pakistan
I think. It turned out great but I couldn't find a source here or
online. I tried the locally owned natural food store which had
Colora. I found the quality of it horrible, meaning it was pretty
coarse. I only kept it on for 30 minutes it frustrated me so much. I
remembered a little Indian import place and went there to find 4
different brands(?). I tried Noorani and it was less coarse but
still kind of annoying. I plan on trying the other brands at the
import place, but my question. Has anyone that has tried the coarse
brands tried grinding it finer with a mortar & pestle and how did it
turn out?
