: : You *sure* you're straight?!
:
: I said I'd been married 35 years. I didn't guarantee I'm straight.
: At this point, though, the argument is entirely theoretical. My way
: of explaining that is that I was born on the wrong side of the
burning
: barricade when it came to sexual decisions. There simply was no
: choice when I was choosing, and theory is only theory.
:
: I think I may have been the one who posted about lying down in the
: bath to ease out the henna, because I've always done it that way. I
: love it that way. There is, to me, a palpable (pleasingly trippy)
: chemical effect on my brain when I do that. However, pending
thorough
: research on henna, haemolysis, G6PD deficiency and adult bodies ....
: anyone who's anemic or G6PD deficient should probably just shower.

If cats and other animals, including Scottish swans [the only ones
I've seen in action!] are anything to go by, probably humans are just
sexual by nature, i.e. we'd be bisexual if social and gendering
conditioning didn't shape us otherwise. At least, after years of
hanging round with all sorts of GLBTQ people, as well as straight
ones, that's what I think. But I do the Swamp Goddess thing without
anybody in there with me ... being a solitary contemplative and not
cenobitic ...;)
