I did the same thing. Actually I've done lots of experimenting.
I just do vinegar solo, I don't even dilute.
Yes, as a mix-in. I use it, as others do water.
Not sure about mixing with beer, but I did henna with red wine for
the first time this past week, and it worked out great!
I'm not a member at Long Hair, but I've lurked. Cut my long hair
all off in Jan. 2000. Went Trinity style, now it's just above
shoulders, don't think I'll ever have long hair again.
