I have thought about this too. Metalic salts are a different kind
of metal than say iron ore. Cast iron has been used for many years
in cooking and I don't think it has caused any problem. In fact
it's probably safer than teflon cookware. All that being said, I
don't think I will try this again as it didn't really work like the
articles I have read said it would and I do know that iron overload
is very bad for the body. On the other had I have also read that
cooking in cast iron is very good for the body, so I just don't know.
