Black Henna...?

I realize there is no such thing as TRUE black henna. I am writing to
the forum to ask a question though: I was considering using as dark
of a henna as I can (Indigo?, tea tree oil as a darkener?) to possibly
color my goatee and maybe even eyebrows to darken them (if that is
safe). Is it true that I will always end up with a red tint no matter
what I do? I don't think I would want a red tint in either place. I
am new to Henna, and I have read some here already, just thought I
would sneak some info from you experts ;) Thanks!
