Black and Gold?!

I have naturally black hair. I have recently found some silvery
white hairs (not grey) on the top of my head. They're short, so I
didn't think much of them. I've been using a henna-hibiscus-
sekanjabin-rosemary-amla-aritha mix, with a little amla oil applied
before henna'ing (to reduce the red/orange tones).

I just found a really long white hair that is stained gold. Not
orange, or orange-red but bright gold! I'm guessing it's from the
henna mix.

When I think about the money that my brother and sister spend having
professionals bleach streaks into their hair that then get dyed
blonde, I have to laugh. True, the streaks aren't as uniform or very
wide yet, but the bleaching is happening naturally and I spend lot
less for the same results!
