Hello everyone,

Happy Holidays!

I've been hennaing/indigoing for 8 months now. I've posted several
times on this board before. My problem is simple: indigo just never
fully takes on my hair. I've tried EVERYTHING listed here, and
check for new ideas here regularly. Have used:

-Catherine's henna + indigo
-Various dye release times, mixes, length of time "in", etc.
-Mixes with Amla, salt, wine, coffee, hot water vs. warm water...

Bottom line is: my hair, which is probably 80% gray at this point,
never becomes fully black or dark brown...it always ends up reddish
or bronze! I've always had very dark brown hair (until I started
going gray at 16) and just want to keep it that way.

Any advice/new tips from other stubborn grayheads greatly
appreciated....
