I think I saw a chart somewhere about henna stain demise over time and how temperature affects it,

but of course now I can't find it. The last time I hennaed it came
out beautiful, with 5 hours on my head and warmed towels, but the time
before that it didn't take very well and I wonder if I waited too long
and it was on its way to dead. Did I imagine it or can someone point
me in the right direction? TIA!
