Food coloring

Hi. I have dyed my hair once before with henna with pleasing
results but I want to have a little fun with it this time.

Would anybody recommend using food dye or Kool-Aid in the mix?
Would it react badly with the henna/acid?
Would it not really have a noticeable effect?
Would it fade out quickly?
