roux temporary rinses

Is it safe to use the "Roux" type temporary hair dyes (in the silver
bottles sold at Walmart) over hennaed hair? I have been using only
body quality henna. I think that I really would like to have my gray
hair back for awhile and am trying to figure out a way to do that
without shaving my head. Maybe I could use that temporary dye for
awhile til it grows out enough to style in a shorter cut and then
just let it fade to gray naturally??? Just tired of dyed hair and want
gray back.
