I used it on my husband's ashbrown "virgin" hair mixed with a bit of indigo and henna, of course. It made his hair orangish brown, not a chocolate brown like I wanted. Of course I may not have added enough walnut poweder because I was afraid of an allergic reaction (tho I did test first) as I have heard many people have to walnut powder. I put about 3 tablespoons since he has such short hair. This last time I did only henna and indigo on his hair and the color is much richer and less orangish. The mix with indigo was about 3 part henna and 1 part indigo. It is a nice warm brownish-red. I hope that helps! Oh and I found the walnut powder at a health food store in the bulk section. : Hi : I am a regular visitor of this website and have been reading the : wealth of information that you all provide. Can someone tell me where : can i get the walnut powder in Australia and if lt lasts longer than : Indigo. : : Ravinder
