I use whatever is cheap and handy. Its my guess that you'll get
lovely reds with your henna .... and remember the color builds up time
after time, and it also has a settling process in the days after you
apply it ... as it oxidizes.

Harvest hair from your hairbrush, and try some of the mixes on it.

I know it seems like a bother to learn to make up your own mix from
body art quality henna instead of pouring something out of a box, but
its the difference between stale wonderbread and fresh out of the oven
home baked wonderfulness.
