I did a streak

I didn't want to wait to collect enough hair so I did a streak on my
head. I got pictures and will send them all in if I do my whole
head...I LOVE the bright orange as a streak, but I'm not sure about
all of my hair. I did it last night. How long should I wait before I
can safely say it's the final color? 3 days? Will it darken
noticeably?
