Henna comes from Asia and the Middle East, where most women have
black/dark brown hair. It turns our hair reddish burgundy. If you use
it a lot, it will get purplish. Look around for Indian and Iranian
folks with a reddish glow to their hair. You should also use a good,
body-art quality henan.
