catherine, question re: amla/cassia

Hi,

I have a terrible itchy/patchy skin scalp that I've been fighting
for years - probably some mix of dandruff and the years of
irritating it w/hair dye. since i've been using henna it seems to
really help, but only for a month or so, about the time I have think
of henna'ing again, it's mostly because the itch has come back. my
question: if I want to cut down on the henna'ing, would cassia or
amla be best used for the scalp problem? your best guess would be
appreciated.
