It may be that you haven't rinsed it well enough. On your head you
would probably rinse for about 20 minutes and use lots of conditioner
to get it out. Try putting conditioner on it and rinsing it some more
to see if it mats less.

If it 100% body art henna and pure indigo, I can't imagine there would
be a problem.
