Also, the final colour of stains on skin is very dependent on the
henna-ee's body chemistry. Some of us have chemistry that leans
towards very brown stains, some towards red. Some stain very dark
consistently, and some of us (me!) are lucky if we get a middling
stain that lasts long. So, even if the crop of henna claims to be
more brownish or reddish or whateverish, that is even subject to each
individual's use, making it hard to generalize each crop.
