Henna

Dear sir/madam,I always used chemical hair dyes to colour my hair. I
have dark brown hair with bleach streaks at the moment. My hair is
very brittle and snaps off at the ends. I wanted to research henna
hair dye as i dont like having chemicals on my head, but I find it
very confusing. After reading your web site I understand I should
use a body art quality henna mixed with ? This is my question to
achieve a very dark brown but not quite black effect what should i
mix the henna with? I also like purple and deep red tones in my hair
as a change from time to time but do not understand how to achieve
this effect using henna. Also is the henna bought from local
herbalists free of PPD and other chemicals? Thank you so much for
your time it is much appreciated.
