I researched colouring my hair with henna for a couple of months and
decided to take the plunge. Unlike my usual spontaneous and
impatient character, I took the time to collect the hair from my
brush, took the time to put the hair in the dye-released henna, put
the cream around my hairline and ears, let the henna sit on my hair
for 4 hrs...and ohmygod! It worked! I have dark brown hair, with
those few 40 white hairs...and it's a nice deep auburn, with fiery
highlights in the sun...orangy greys...I'm hooked. I did the mix
with just lemon juice and some lavender EO. I love the colour, and
the experience is amazing. And...my scalp has stopped itching. I'm
hooked!

I used Red Rose Henna, that I picked up from an asian grocery store,
with a fresh-ish date on the back..it's all good.

Thanks for the awesome information. Here's hoping other folks
discover this site so they can quick letting chemicals seep into
their system, and actually colour and condition with some powdered
leaves and lemonjuice. Amazing!
