I mix the henna a day or two before needed.
When i'm totally ready to add the indigo,
When i say ready, i mean, all set. I have my
hair clipped, and the shower prepped.
I mix the indigo in a new plastic bowl.
I use 2-3 heaping tablespoons of indigo,
mix with warm liquid, and salt let set for 5 minutes.
Then I add that to the henna, and mix like mad.
Then I run to the shower to get it in to my hair
as fast as possible.
Indigo releases dye in about 20-30 min. after mixing,
and maxes out in about 1- 2 hours.
I just leave it on overnight.
