The Question is = Colour

Dear henna for hair fourm,
I have wanted to henna my hair for years, but put it off. I had
giving up chemical hair dyes completly, because they don't seem to
work -- they wash-out or fade within days -- I've used blonde and red
of different companies, so decided I was the problem. I found your
site when doing a random search of things I hadn't thought of for a
while and checked to see what was new. Spending a good amount of time
here -- I know even more, henna is what i want.
The Question is -- I'd like to have BRICK red w/ a VIOLET tint...and
didn't know if adding 1/4 Indigo and 1/2 Woad to 1/4 Red henna ,
would make that colour. Is it like mixing paints, because it acts
like paint to the skin? Or is it a matter of trail and error. Until
now I had no information or means, just the bravery to try...
If anyone has tried this or has an idea , would be most greatful.
