I have tried with my mom before and we just ending up : wasting a bunch of the stuff. I was thinking of posting on this subject myself! I've only done my hair with cassia a couple of times, but I've had really good results using the 'press & seal' kind of self-adhesive wrap -- it doesn't stick to anything wet, so it won't hurt your hair. I use a piece long enough to wrap from the nape of my neck around my hairline to the center of my forehead and a few more inches, with the 'sticky side' facing in. I stick those ends to each other and then press together back toward the crown of my head. Since my hair's only shoulder length, that covers it all; I imagine you could add another piece if you needed to. Once the basic cap is set, I go back and arrange it around my ears in a way that's comfortable. If you need to crimp it back a bit there, it'll stick to itself. It will also stick very slightly to clean skin, which is convenient. I've never found pulling it off to be uncomfortable. I've never slept with it on, but the hat I put over it while it's 'cooking' always stays clean. Hope that helps!
