What's the best way to store : cloves? Hi Pierre, My old aint from Indonesian still use cloves she brought with her 20 years ago. Hard to believe, but it"s true. The best way to store them is on a DRY and DARK place. In a jar of brown glass. She told me that if you put the cloves in water you can tell if they are fresh or not. The fresh cloves stay on the water, and the ones who are not fresh will sink to the bottem And never save them in plastic! All the oil and aroma will disappear in the plastic. Succes Lia
