Definately don't do pure indigo on your brown, that will make it too
dark probably.

You'll be best off doing what others have suggested, try reapplying
henna and see how it makes your greys turn out.

I was just thinking that if after all that you find that your greys
behave like my white blondes, you can try on your greys what I do with
my blondes. I have some platinum blonde streaks that just will not
take dye very well - they stay brassy, even after repeated henna
application. (The rest of my hair is dark blonde and takes henna very
well, but the light blonde seems to be a different texture). To fix
the blondes, I henna them first and then I apply pure indigo, salted,
only to the blondes. The indigo doesn't take very well on my hair, it
just takes the edge off the brassiness, and it washes out fairly
quickly so I indigo the blonde streaks every week. (Indigo is
permanent on some people, but on me it's not - I should also say I use
cheap boxed indigo).

I was afraid to try pure indigo at first, because I also don't want
black. For a long time I was just gradually upping the indigo to get
rid of the brassiness of the blondes, and all it did was make the rest
of my hair darker (thankfully not permanently) but not the blondes.
Finally I made the mental switch of just treating the blondes like a
separate entity and only applying the indigo there, and that works for
me. If your greys are concentrated in streaks (sounds like that from
your post), you may want to try the same eventually. Especially if you
are OK with the colour you got on the rest of your hair. But you'll
have to experiment a bit to see how the greys respond to more henna,
and how well they hold indigo. Everybody's hair is different.
