The tumeric seems to be semi-permanent. I use it mixed with henna, so
I can't say for sure how permanent it is by itself. I have found that
I have to rinse much more thoroughly when I use tumeric or it gets on
my towels and pillowcases the first few days. It fades pretty slowly,
but it keeps the bright rust colour I get with brand-new henna longer,
even as the henna oxidizes, so it does what I want.
