I got rid of the Henna scentPosted by Marisol on February 2, 2005 at 14:04:15: Hi everyone!I finally figured out how to get rid of the henna smell. I boiled about 4 tablespoons of cloves for a while and let it cool, added 15 drops of essential oils (lavender/tea tree) and used Suave Coconut shampoo and conditioner. It doesn't really smell like coconut once dry and my hair smells wonderful. Thanks for your help regarding the cloves. I read about jasmine tea so next time I will make some jasmine tea to mix my henna with. I just love tweaking my formula. Anyone have any suggestions for flower smelling inexpensive shampoos/conditioners?
