L (the one who had the reaction) has: mousey-brown hair underneath the black dye (which was a bit too dark : on her, to be honest), and K has dark brown hair which she had : partially lightened and dyed scarlet, and recently dyed back to its : original colour (only apparently it hasn't worked very well). What : colour do you think they'd end up with if they used indigo? i'm in a similar situation. i have dark brown hair, with some natural red highlights, and i want to retain my natural color as much as possible. i'm looking to henna to help condition and hopefully strenghten my hair. There have been some suggestions here, about using a combination of indigo and henna together. Which i may try. i am also collecting a sample that i will send to Catherine, and she will test it (but i think she will test it with pure henna, not indigo). There is a page on this site (link below) that shows the henna process (*no* indigo), on Deborah's hair, her hair is nearly the same color as mine, and there are "before" and "after" pics, so you can see the color change after henna. Check it out, there is a *whole* lot of information on this site! AND on the forum! hope this helps :-)
