I've never tried light mountain, I ordered my indigo from Catherinethrough this site, as well as my henna.
I've had a bit of a red tint ever since I started with henna/indigo.
I only have around 3 inchs of non-chemical roots, with henna/indigo.
The older hair has years of bad chemical dye.That's where I see a
bit od red.
So far I don't really see too much red in the roots, it's black.
I also use vinegar washes, maybe that helps keep the color.
