My latest experiment is to see if salting the indigo and using it
before the henna/indigo mix will make it more permanent. So far after
2 weeks it looks that way. No tinting of the bath water, no fading,
no bleeding on the pillow. I know when I have dyed fabric blue or
black in the past I always used salt water. So it makes sense to me.
we'll see, but I have a feeling that this is permanent.
