First off, the Nancy in the "mixes" section is not me.My natural color is light brown with 20% white.
My first few hennas gave me an orange that I didn't care for.
Because I had been using chemicals for 17 years to go black,
I was trying to find a mix to go as dark as possible, so I
could match my new growth to the black ends.
The magic ingredient was the indigo. Now it all looks black.
I can no longer see the line where the old chem. dye is.
I have a bit of a red tone in the sunlight, but inside it's black.
But on the way to finding black, I did have a cherry-black.
