Mixing henna powder with lemon juice is too hard for some people!

Hi all,
I was just introduced to your site and forums from another forum, and
I am happy to have found this place.
I have been digging through this forum trying to find just that: dumb-
dumb instructions on how to mix to achieve desired color.
I am 39 yo and have been using henna regularly since I was 16. I
never knew you should use acidic liquids (lemon or vinegar) to mix it
in, and while I spent some time in Kuwait while ago, that never came
up. Only extra ingredients were used to darken the color like coffee
and black tea.
I have mousy grayish with grays now days, and get nice red, but I am
still looking for something that will make it bright brick fiery
red! I guess ill try paprika next time :)
