The wonderful thing is: since I discovered henna plus indigo I stopped
worrying about getting grey altogether. This used to bother me a lot
before, because I started greying at 21, and now, at 34, still look
quite young (ok, thanks for that). So I guess, greys just would not
match well with my looks, especially as I seem or like to be an
irritating person to some people anyway ;) At some time, I did
consider aiming for the Angela Carter look, letting it all grow out
witchy-style, but my hair is very straight, and has also gotten
thinner. My once mousy boring dark blonde would only give me an ever
more boring looking grey - no elegant thick raging white mane like
ACs. Also, whenever I see a greyhead on the street, I assume she's
old, boring or a librarian. And I used to be a librarian, so that's a
trauma ;) I've been dyeing my hair since 15, because I couldn't stand
my natural colour. It's perfect as a base for henna, though (as long
as I add indigo, because only cooler, ashy tones fit me), so there's
some consolation..)

Lately, I also like to believe that Amla stops my prematuring greying
process a bit, but I guess, now I've reached an age where you can't
say it was pre-mature anymore ;)
