: What do you intend to do when you decide to be silver?

I am not certain I ever will decide that. My grandmother, who left at
98, was blonde until the day she died, and looked to be only about
72. The other grandmother was never a silver-haired old lady, either
(she retained her light brown hair, mostly, until her death at the
same age). I just don't have a role model for that in my family.

: Would you still use henna if your white roots showed and made you
: look bald on your part after just 2 weeks?
:
Currently, part of my hair is steel gray at the roots. If it were
paler, yes, I would still henna as I do now... every 2 weeks.

: Do you think that the bright reds and dark browns and blacks can be
: severe next to an aging face?
:
Bright reds and dark hair can look severe next to any skin with a
sallow undertone, which can or cannot be a result of genetics,
accumulated photodamage (dulls the skin), or age-related health
issues. Dark hair may or may not accentuate shadows. Key is having a
good sense of color and balance, and a critical eye. No hard and fast
rules, here.
