But you know if people thot we really were vampires there would even less founding than we have now. I have heard raw liver is very good for this. CSI even did a show about an insane dietician with Porphyria who personally trained athletes and then killed them to eat them(Kinda like the witch in Hansel and Gretel) and the Porphyria Foundation liked to have a cow. Chlorophyll is close to the function of Heme in plants--no one knows exactly how it works or not in humans for the same thing. Right now the only way to get Heme is in transfusion (called infusion actually) and it is dangerous because it can cause immediate side-effects by making a person's body do what it has not ever done--even if it is the right thing to do. Alot of strokes and cardiac risks. Plus, there is always a threat of contamination of the blood supply--however if this goes thru the digestive process alot of risks are reduced--so it still comes back to drinking blood. The whole idea makes me feel sick, I have never done it. But if I did and it made me feel better- I might be tempted to keep it up. You could email me off-forum about Porph if you like and if you have some suggestions in the enzyme-line of thinking. I don't want to offend anyone here. Ravyn, Lady Heresy
