Slightly more complex, and very effective....... but .... for what
reasons?

This was the alleged method, from a Dr. Bronner's soap bottle (which
had all sorts of eclectic writing and some very strange bits indeed).
Cut a lemon in half, squoosh out the pulp on an old fashioned lemon
squeezer thingie ............ then use the half lemon as a cervical cap.

Now ......... I don't think that would be very comfortable shoved up
against a cervix, and I don't know how safe that would be for your
standard working model vagina. Seems to me as if it would sting not
only the lady but be unpleasant for the visiting penis. I think it
would be more useful in totally preventing intercourse than in
preventing conception.

I don't know of such was ever actually used, or a piece of Dr.
Bronner's highly imaginative reality.

There are simpler aboriginal methods of avoiding pregnancy ........
