Using Indigo

Hi all,


I've hennaed before but end up with rather copper/orange tinted
locks - even though I'm medium brown naturally. This unfortunately
clashes with my slightly pink cheeks. I'd like to add just a bit of
Indigo to the henna to get a darker brown/aubern - will this work?
Also, I've used neat lemon juice before and have wondered if that is
not the reason my hair lightened quite a bit? Also, I don't want
black hair either so I don't want to cock it up by adding too much
Indigo. Anyone got any suggestions for me? Also,how often do you
all henna?
