If I was incorrect that bleaching henna'd hair could possibly turn it more orange, you should probably let her/him know. Of course, as I recommended, experimenting with some hair from a brush is always a good idea. But again, I would encourage you to get back to Moon Harvester above, as you obviously have a ton of great information to share. Certainly I didn't mean to perpetuate any myths, sorry about that. In the future, however, you might consider not using caps when correcting others, just to ensure that people feel this is a welcoming place to learn about henna. I don't know why, but caps tend to come across as yelling at some via the internet. Weird, maybe, but I am not the only one that feels this way. Jane : : Yikes! : : Sorry .... but misinformation is misinformation. No sense in : perpetuating it by leaving it uncorrected. The cosmetology textbooks : have been DEAD WRONG about henna for about 60 years now, while : endangering women's health with their chemicals. If someone posts : something that is WRONG, I'm not going to let it sit, perpetuating the : BIG LIE that the cosmetic industry has been feeding us. We all need : the correct information. If having misinformation corrected on an : internet forum is personally threatening .... probably best to go : somewhere else. My first responsibility is to getting accurate : information on henna and hair out to people.
