I would consider rehennaing.

My stylist says you can bleach (lighten) over the henna but only after
a good couple of months. She says that it takes "high octane
lighteners" and a lot of time. I wouldn't risk it yet. Truthfully, I
would henna it again and leave it on the same amount of time you did
your strand test with. It'll get darker, richer, and be much less
caustic then trying to lighten it.
