I guess sincemy hair is so healthy now from hennaing, I'm brave enough to use this on small strands. There was some talk a while back (Jan) here about testing peroxide on hennaed hair, just for highlights, given the unnatural freakshow orange result. I was thinking, I may like the orange in a few strands, and (if it got light enough)to cover some with manic panic pink. I'll keep ya posted! : It really depends how resilient your hair is... When I was dying my : hair with *gasp* salon hair dye, it took 40 Volume and 2 hours to : bleach my hair to a light yellowish-orange. (I have natural thick : hair and lots of it.) : : Do what they do in the salons... Add peroxide and completely cover : the hair on all sides, then leave uncovered for 15 mins. Rub a : little peroxide off the hair to test the colour underneath, then : reapply peroxide to the area if its not light enough yet. Repeat : until you're satisfied! : : I thought using peroxide and other lighteners on hennaed hair was a : no-no... Besides making your hair a really light coppery-orange : colour. But I haven't hennaed my hair myself, so I'm only guessing :- : )
