I assume they were the artificial green of the dyed sand you : say is usually found in Indian Henna. : I got my henna from one of your listed suppliers in the U.K. and they : did tell me it was indian; my question is, if this dyed sand is : present are there any implications in terms of using the henna? It : seems to make a nice paste and give good colour (still tweaking the : mix to get a colour I can use, but thats another story)just wondered : if that could be what I'm seeing and if its anything bothersome. : ALSO, what about timing? In trying to achieve a colour result thats : not too brassy, and trying different mixes, I'm finding with my very : porous hair, that I get very bright colour in under an hour; whats : the minimum if there is one of time needed to get the conditioning : benefits, and do you get deeper results with longer times or just : with repeated hennas? : Thanks again Catherine! I had some henna like that once. It gave a great stain to my hair, but it left the gloves I used (non-latex plastic disposable kind...mom works in a hospital so I'm used to having them on hand) green. Usually they turn faintly orange by the time I'm done working all the henna in, so it was a surprise to see kelly green instead. The dye didn't effect the hair colour at all, though.
