Perhaps try vasoline on the skin right up to the hair line before you
henna, and then feel free to slop it on to the edge. It should
prevent the henna from getting on to your skin and making you look
like you "got mugged by an orange popscicle" (picked that phrase up
somewhere here and it's so true).
